The world woke up today to headlines that many spent decades dismissing as “alarmist.” But today, the alarm is ringing in every major capital on earth.
As of this morning, the U.S. State Department has authorized the departure of non-emergency personnel from Israel. The UK, China, and Australia have followed suit, urging their citizens to evacuate Israel and Iran immediately. With the USS Gerald R. Ford and additional carrier strike groups moving into tactical positions in the Mediterranean, the “rumors of war” have officially become the “reality of war.”
But for the Saints Army, we don’t look at the news to find our peace. We look at the News to see the Signal.
1. This is Not a Drill; It’s a Display
The global panic we are witnessing is a physical manifestation of a spiritual truth. For years, we’ve been told that the world is stable, that peace is a matter of diplomacy, and that Biblical prophecy is just poetry.
Today, that illusion is shattered. We are watching the clock wind down. Matthew 24:6 tells us, “And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass…” The key phrase there isn’t “wars”—it’s “See that you are not troubled.” The only way to remain untroubled when aircraft carriers are moving and embassies are closing is to be anchored in something the world cannot shake.
2. Beyond the Headlines: The Call to Repentance
While the secular media focuses on troop movements and geopolitical strategy, the Holy Spirit is focused on the heart. This escalation is a divine “check-point.” It is a moment for every believer—and every seeker—to ask: Where is my life hidden? If your security is in your bank account, your government, or your geographic location, you are in danger. But if your life is hidden with Christ in God, you are unshakeable. This is the hour to stop playing “church” and start being the Remnant. Repentance isn’t just a “sorry” for bad behavior; it is a total 180-degree turn. It is the act of surrendering your will, your future, and your fears to the Lordship of Jesus Christ.
3. Standing in the Fire
The Bible doesn’t promise us an escape from the days of shaking, but it promises us a Kingdom that cannot be shaken (Hebrews 12:28).
We do not fear the fire because we know the Fourth Man in the fire. We do not fear the evacuation orders because our citizenship is in Heaven.
The Mandate for the Saints Army:
- Stay Sober: Do not get swept up in the hysteria of the 24-hour news cycle.
- Stay Scriptural: Measure every headline against the Word of God.
- Stay Surrendered: If there is an area of your life you haven’t given to Jesus, give it to Him tonight.
Final Word: Is Your Life Surrendered?
The world is fleeing, but the Church is rising. We aren’t running from the headlines; we are running to the Harvest.
If you have been living with one foot in the world and one foot in the Kingdom, let today be your day of decision. The clock is winding down, but the grace of God is still reaching out. Fully surrender to Jesus as Lord tonight.
